About Me

My name is Yana Hempler and I am a Fourth Year business student at the University of Victoria, now called the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business. I completed the Entrepreneurship Specialization in the Summer of 2011, and I am currently maintaining an A- cumulative grade point average.

This is my personal blog about student life, financing, budgeting, scholarships,athletics, as well as little tidbits of information about business from the perspective of a student. I want to share my take on what I learned with other people.

I also want to share my personal challenges, experiences, and victories. Many victories begin with defeats, and are attained through a combination of a change in attitude, perseverance and meeting the right people at the right time to become members of your mutual support network.

My goal is to read and review as many biographies of business people as I can, and get my hands on as many inspirational books as I possibly can.

I want to share things that inspire me, and that I hope will inspire you too.

*Winner of the Governor General's Medal
*Winner of multiple track & field and cross country running zone championships
*Finalist in the Start Something With Alesse Contest.
